Taimur Shah - Chief Technology Officer - is a technology leader with a robust background in both computer science and international development. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Columbia Engineering and a Master’s in Public Administration in International Development from Harvard Kennedy School. His experience spans founding and leading the Labs team at the Centre for Economic Research in Pakistan, where he developed software solutions with researchers and government agencies to address critical issues in education, health, and food security. Previously, he served as a Research Fellow at Harvard’s Growth Lab and worked as an Economic Advisor for the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms in Kazakhstan. Taimur’s technology expertise also includes his time at IBM in New York City, where he was a Software Architect on Watson Prototypes and Cognitive Environments teams, leveraging Watson’s Natural Language capabilities. He founded and successfully sold a startup during his time at Columbia University and has held the position of VP of Engineering at Parrable.
